modern encaustic tiles

We love Lindsay Lang’s patterned floor tiles and, luckily, so did our clients!  We got a builder to knock through the old bathroom and separate WC to create one room, big enough for both a large double ended bath and a separate shower – ideal for a larger family bathroom.  We had to reinforce all the old joists, move the soil pipe and all the pipework, create panelling and a partition stud wall that allowed for tiled recessed shelving in both the shower and over the bath.  We designed a double sink unit and mirrored wall cabinet and had it made by a local furniture maker and shipped in some glass wall lights from the USA.
