DHD Ltd was set up by Claire Davies-Hobbs BA(Hons). After 18 years working as a series producer and director in television, making programmes about house building, interiors, antiques and furniture, she wanted to devote more time to sharing with others her passions for contemporary design and design history. We have extended and redesigned properties and interiors, from individual rooms to large commercial buildings. We design and oversee bathroom and kitchen refurbishments; ranging from ultra modern to classic period interiors; for television programmes, in addition to private and commercial clients.

Anna & Joey
You were calm, interested and took our values seriously. You were open and honest about possible problems and gave us a clear idea about costs and time frames.
You created the minimal look that I wanted, hiding all the pipework - and the clutter! Your designs for the mirrored cabinet and glass topped vanity unit get lots of compliments. It was a really complex job and I'd never have been able to get it done if you hadn't project managed it all for me.
If ever you have a client that is deliberating about whether to have you project manage or not - get them to talk to me!
A very big THANK YOU for my FAB new kitchen!!!!
Claire is a wonderfully creative, thorough and professional interior designer. Her vision and attention to detail are impressive. Her ability to source unique products that take into consideration the period of the home and the needs of the client is fantastic. If you use Claire for any project you can be sure of receiving a lovely finished product.
Claire has brought her expert and creative eye everytime, as we've undertaken the decoration and interior design of our new house. We have hired Claire on a number of occassions from researching fabric/furniture pieces, advice on cost-effective solutions through to the designing our art deco style lounge. It's fun working with Claire but more than that she always brings a fresh perspective to our inital ideas and has sourced a cost effective approach on every occassion. If you're a busy working individual or couple I'd highly recommend Claire to Project Manage your latest interior design dreams.
Claire designed and managed the refurbishment of my apartment. She demonstrated a keen eye for layout, a detailed knowledge of product sourcing and an absolute passion to deliver the best she could for me within a restricted budget. I am thrilled with the results.
You oversaw every aspect of the design, from choosing units and worktops to which light bulbs I should buy! You always offered me choices, accurate costs and your own, very valuable, design opinions. The refit happened on time, on budget and with you present to supervise everything… you made my life very easy indeed – thank you!
